These are the rules for using the Affirmations & Co mobile app and this website (together, the "App"). The App is made by Mindful and Ruthless ltd, a company registered in Israel ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. What the App is

Affirmations & Co is a place to write, read, listen to and share affirmations, quotes, goals, visions and gratitude lists. It is a personal-growth tool. It is not therapy, medical care or professional advice of any kind. If you're struggling with your mental health, please talk to a qualified professional.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
  • Give us accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password private. What happens under your account is your responsibility, so tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.
  • One person, one account. Don't sign up on someone else's behalf without their permission.

3. Your content

The affirmations and other things you write stay yours. So that the App can work, you give us permission to store, display and back up your content, and to show it to other users when you choose to share it publicly.

Public affirmations can be seen by other users, and the App lets them copy a public affirmation into their own collection. If you don't want that, keep the affirmation private.

You're responsible for what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, anything that's illegal, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or that targets or harasses another person, or anything that pretends to be someone else. We may remove content that breaks these rules, and we may suspend or close accounts that keep breaking them.

4. Using the App fairly

Please don't:

  • copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the App or other users' content;
  • try to break into the App, get around its security, or overload it;
  • use bots or automated tools to create accounts or post content;
  • use the App to send spam or to collect other people's data.

5. What's ours

The App itself, its name, logo, design, code and the affirmations we provide are owned by us or our licensors. You can use them within the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't reuse them elsewhere without asking us first.

6. Cost

The App is currently free. If we ever add paid features, we'll say so clearly in the App before you pay anything, and these terms will be updated to explain how payments and cancellations work.

7. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to send, correct or delete your data at any time through our Personal Data Request form.

8. Changes and availability

We keep improving the App, which means features can change or be removed, and the App may occasionally be unavailable. We may also stop offering the App altogether. Where we can, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can export or save your content.

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the App or by email. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Ending things

You can delete your account whenever you like from the App's settings or through the Personal Data Request form. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if we have to for legal reasons. Sections 3, 5, 10 and 11 keep applying after your account is closed.

10. No promises

We provide the App "as is". We don't promise that it will be error-free, always available, or that it will lead to any particular result in your life. Affirmations are a practice, not a guarantee.

11. Our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, lost data, lost profits, or damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Where the law doesn't let us exclude liability, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, which today is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections your local law gives you that can't be waived.
